About My Self
I am Abid Lashari, President of the National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) and Founder/Lead advocate at Pakistan Down Syndrome Association (PDSA). I am dedicated to creating an inclusive, compassionate, and empowered society where persons with disabilities and individuals with Down syndrome have equal opportunities to thrive with dignity and respect.
As the representative lead for PDSA—country member of Down Syndrome International (DSi) UK, member of the Asia Pacific Down Syndrome Federation (APDSF), and partner with the Department of Empowerment of Persons With Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh—I work to advance human rights, healthcare, inclusive education, and comprehensive rehabilitation across Pakistan.
Through advocacy, policy development, and community engagement, my mission is to turn challenges into opportunities, break societal barriers, and ensure every individual achieves their full potential.
